Amalie Roege Hove established that knitwear is for so much more than cocooning with her debut collection in 2019. Four years later, the designer pushed her spiderywebby cropped cardigans and sinuous dresses into new territory with interlocking shapes, deeper colors, and knitted buckle belts details, without losing their stage-four clinginess. It’s self-assured, and a little sexy—all while being delightfully modeled on a range of body types.

During the show, two members of her team gingerly wrapped an undressed model into finely pleated wool panels. Securing the swathes of fabric to drape off her didn’t ring like a Coperni (or McQueen) knock-off, though inspiration is more than a little likely. “It didn’t disappoint,” Brown’s Petersson agreed.
